My daughter is a patient at Jeevam Therapy were she is getting Schroth therapy for 35-degree lumbar scoliosis. In just a couple of sessions, I saw a huge difference in how she stands. Dr. Eva not only teaches my daughter correct positions to help with her scoliosis, but what she needs to do for the rest of her life in living with scoliosis. With Schroth therapy, it is possible to correct some degree of scoliosis. I can see that in just a couple of weeks of therapy. Thank you, Dr. Eva.
I started physical therapy for Scoliosis in September of 2017 when I was a senior at high school. Despite my spine being at 40 degrees, Jeevam Therapy has corrected many negative results from my Scoliosis, including: posture, gait and pain using the Schroth method. It is a common misconception that physical therapy can only prevent pain for Scoliosis patients. However, Dr. Eva has taught me many exercises that are decreasing my chance of surgery. As a result of my improvements, I now have the confidence to manage my everyday life.
I was blown away because within two weeks I saw a big difference in my son...meeting with her only two times. Eva went above and beyond as an experienced professional by having sharp observational skills, openly expressing her concerns and advice. I was amazed at the new info and techniques Eva shared to help my son to be the best he can be. Lucas had two PTs from two best hospitals in east coast, yet Eva’s knowledge and humbleness and personal relationship was much more outstanding than the PTs assigned at NYU Langone med. center & Columbia univ. med. center. We hope her skills are passed on to her employees so that other clients experience similar care.
What Eva does in one session others may take ten sessions. She knows the root of the problem and goes straight to it.
Eva is fantastic! She got my 19 month old aviva walking in literally one session in a fun way that involved the whole family! Although Aviva can be shy at times, she took to Eva right away due to her warm manner. Highly recommend her!
Eva you are the best teacher. I’m an adult with ADHD...wish I had you for all my classes. You have patience and knowledge to teach me.
