Dr. Eva Mohanty MSPT, DPT, is a graduate of the Physical Therapy program from the School of health-related professions (SHRP) at the University of Medicine and Dentistry (UMDNJ) now known as Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the International Society on Early Intervention (ISEI), and the Society of Scoliosis Orthopedic Research and Treatment (SOSORT). She earned her SBI-II (Schroth Barcelona Institute C1 & C2) certifications in 2012 and 2015 respectively; also, she attended Rigo System Cheneau (RSC) brace training for Scoliosis in Rosenheim, Germany in 2016. She became accredited with the scientific exercise approach to scoliosis (SEAS) 1 and 2 certifications by ISICO, Italy in 2017 & 2018 respectively.
Apart from the aforementioned credentials, Dr. Eva Mohanty also has been trained in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) by Dr. Jayne L. Styer-Acevedo, Sensory Integration (SI) by Sally Goddard-Blyth, Reflex integration by Julia Harper, Concussion Management and Treatment by Dr. Susan Whitney, and “Breathe better to function better” by Dr. Marry Massery.
Dr. Eva Mohanty, DPT. has expanded her knowledge & skillset with numerous courses for breath enhancement, manual therapy, and fascialization for pain relief, etc. She believes there is no replacement for a healing touch. Her personal journey has changed her perception towards life, inspired her to respect nature and life, so she treats her patients from a patient’s perspective. She believes every human body is as unique as fingerprints, and every behavior has a root cause, which needs to be treated in order to address the apparent pain and symptoms. She looks at the overall lifestyle and function of each patient, creates an individualized and customized plan of care for all her patients. Her treatment approach is holistically based on her scientific knowledge & skillset and within the scope of her Physical Therapy practice.
